When Nix realizes that Claire is a nobody like him, he questions The Society and everything he's known to be true.

Although this book is pretty small, it took me around a week or so to finish it. I kept getting bored or didn't have an urge to read it. And the storyline was pretty guessable after the first chapter.

With that in mind, I do think this book is very unique. No author has tried out this idea before and am happy to have read something new. I did like the characters and the overall theme.

I must also add, I love Jennifer Lynn Barnes technique for writing but this book was pretty sub par compared to her other works.

Thoroughly entertaining read,I mean how do you look at invisibility nd then weave a fascinating story that put me to, tears imagining myself being( not heart,seen,acknowledged.....)like her. Your spirited characters really put a new meaning to the phrase "Never Give Up". Loved the book,KEEP ON WRITING!!!!
This book was perfect length, perfect quantity of action and romance and cliff-hangers etc. I read it all in one sitting and found myself daydreaming about it on more then one occasion. With one-off books like these I sometimes find myself wishing they were a series just so that i don't have to leave these very realistic and intriguing worlds but for everyones sake i hope these people don't exist.
The author did a great job puting a new spin on the premise of being a nobody, both seen and unseen, going through life while no one seems to acknowledge your existence. I did have to dock one star based solely on the fact that the first couple of chapters redundanlty drilled in the fact that the main characters were nobodies with no friends or even family members that truly cared for them. After a while you find yourself rolling your eyes saying to yourself, 'ok, we get it!' All that aside, the book itself had very interesting plot twists and character development that kept me reading for hours at a time.
I gave this book five stars because it had me from the very beginning! When I first heard about it I was skeptical about the whole nobody idea and how it would make a story, much less real characters. But this was a very unique book. It's very interesting and the characters and plots are riveting! I LOVE the whole "fading" idea and the writing is spectacular! In the sense that the nobody character Nix grew up in a "lab like" atmosphere and was made to believe in "The Society", and carry out their orders, reminds me of The Maze Runner" series a little. So if you liked the Maze Runner you'll like this too!
Jennifer Lynn Barnes specializes in the ludicrously brilliant twist on tired genre stories. Sure, her characters have powers or supernatural enemies or government conspiracies after them - but more importantly, they can be the vessels for clever commentary on what it's actually like to be young, while inverting many of the traditional stories that we're accustomed to seeing on YA shelves. In this book, our heroes are teenagers who are literally invisible to others - just like you felt when you were 15 except, we'll, exactly like you felt when you were 15, except they are part of an evil experiment to create unstoppable killers. Actually impossible to put down, it is about as purely entertaining as it gets (even if it does get a bit goofy in the romance department - but it's goopiness is well earned). Highly recommended.
This book was amazing. The concept was new and exciting and the plot line had twists and turns that I never expected. The book description really doesn't tell you a lot, but the main storyline doesn't actually come around until halfway through the book.

Claire has never been noticed by anyone. Even from a young age she was constantly forgotten by her parents. She is what The Society calls a Nobody. And Nobody's are dangerous. Enter Nix, a Nobody raised by the Society to be an assassin. Nobodies make perfect assassin because you can't catch something you can't see. but when Nix is sent to kill Claire, he can't take the shot. Together the two find the corruption that is The Society and well do whatever it takes to destroy it and save themselves from it.

the story is full of action throughout the entire plot, rarely stopping for a breath. I loved the concept of nobodies and all the other kind of people that come along with them. there's a direct side and a romantic side of the story and has three best ending imaginable. Honestly, there is no other way the book should have ended.

5 stars forever and recommending to everyone I know. definitely worth every penny spent.

I enjoyed it thoroughly. Great premise, good character development, nice plot and pace, some good twists, a moderately believable romance. One thing that made me pause, when I first read Null I thought it was another way of referring to Nobody. I'm sure there was a reason for calling them Null, but I would have named them something different, like the opposite of Null. But it probably made sense at the time. I chose to purchase this novel because I liked The Naturals. Well done, looking forward to more from this talented author.
